The journey vision:
Imagine…
A community of people who have an intimate relationship
with God, worship him with our lives, study His
Word, and strive to apply His truth to everyday
situations.
A community of people who meet together weekly
for a time of relationship building, worship
and a participatory searching of God’s
truth.
A community of people who really know and trust
one another – hanging out in each other’s
homes, eating together, having fun and growing
in God’s truth together.
A community of people discovering our God-given
purpose together and being empowered and released
to accomplish it and to live life to the fullest.
A community of people where it is safe to talk
about the struggles and consequences of habitual
sin, bringing healing and giving support to help
people live a life of victory.
A community of people where others are coming
to Christ because they are intrigued by a church
that responds to people like Jesus did – with
love, acceptance and forgiveness.
A community of people with a holistic view of
ministry – meeting every need a person
has in Jesus name, whether it’s – spiritual,
relational, mental, emotional and physical, etc.
A community of people participating in the transformation
of the culture with the presence of Jesus – intentionally “pastoring” our
neighbors, co-workers and city; also being involved
in city events, projects and programs – serving
the Madison area however we can.
A community of people running a coffee shop
that is used to serve the needs of the community
with food/clothing drives, life management classes,
tutoring, study rooms for university students,
weekend music, art shows, and more.
A community of people who have an opportunity
to continue their education in Biblical studies & pastoral
ministry through a Ministry Institute Program
- those who complete the program will earn a
ministerial license.
A community of people that reproduces and multiplies – planting
other churches as we grow so that true communion
can be maintained; our goal is to plant another
church in the Madison area 2-3 years from when
we launch this church.
